Georgia - Short Break 5 days.

If you plan a short visit to Georgia, the suggested trips will help you in your exploration of some of the major destinations of the capital of Georgia and the neighbouring areas, including the Caucasian Mountains.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Tbilisi. Day 2: Full day city tour of Tbilisi with excursions to the Old Town,  museums, churches and architectural monuments, and other sites of this fascinating city. Night in Tbilisi. Day 3: Excursion to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. Visit the town of Gori. Excursion to Uplistsikhe ancient cave town. We continue trip along the river Aragvi Valley and Georgian Military Highway. Overnight in Kazbegi. Hotel. Day 4: In Kazbegi we explore the area and enjoy the views of the Caucasian Mountains, including Mt Kazbek. Walk up to Gergeti Sameba Church. Return Tbilisi On the road visit the Ananuri architectural complex. Overnight in Tbilisi. Day 5: End of the tour.
